Just had a Japanese breakfast at a Ryokan in Nara. The meal consisted of rice, miso soup, salmon (like tinned salmon), a partially cooked egg in some soupish stuff, tofu, a few other things I dont know the name of and a lot of garnishing. A lot more food than expected especially after the huge dinner they served the night before. From what I can tell Japanese people eat breakfast very early, we had ours the latest time at 8am so no midnight snacks. As to how to eat it, we really didnt have a clue lol.
