White Sauce Recipe

"Does anyone have the receipe for the white sauce that is placed on mussels and then baked in a toaster oven? You can order at sushi bars..." Suggestions?

Thats what Im online looking for now. That stuff is delicious. Im looking all over and cant find a recipe for it as of yet.

it’s pretty much spicy mayo and smelt egg. Japanese mayo, chiracha hot sauce, shichimi powder and smelt egg mix togehter.

I always make my mussells at home. The sauce is mayo, a squirt of shirachi sauce(bottle of hot sauce with rooster on it)tabasco will work also.mix together until light orange color. then broil in your toaster over. add masago.(fish eggs)if desired
