Ginger pork is calle butano shogayaki. Fresh ginger is an essential ingredient in this recipe. It's said that ginger helps tenderize the meat. Also, the flavor of ginger enhances the appetite. Serve butano shogayaki with shredded cabbage and steamed rice.
