Ebi Chili

Stir-fried shrimp with chili sauce is a popular Chinese dish known as "ebi chili" in Japan. The sauce is seasoned with tobanjan which is hot bean paste often used in Chinese Szechuan cuisine. This spicy shrimp goes with Japanese steamed rice.
