Japanese Recipe of the Week: Cold Soba Noodles

zaru soba noodle Cold noodles are great summer food. One of the most popular Japanese noodle dishes in summer is zaru soba. It's cold buckwheat noodle (soba) served on a bamboo plate (zaru) with dipping sauce. Dried soba noodles are available at Asian grocery stores. Make zaru soba for a light summer meal.
