Let's Make Dorayaki

Friday September 19, 2008
Japanese dorayaki Dorayaki is a traditional Japanese cake with anko filling. Dora means gong in Japanese, and it's said that this cake was named dorayaki because the shape resembles a gong. I usually make dorayaki on an electric pan so that the cakes turn evenly brown.
