What is Kinpira?

kinpira gobo Kinpira is a traditional way of Japanese cooking, and strips of ingredients are braised and mainly seasoned with soy sauce and mirin. The most popular kinpira dish is kinpira gobo (burdock). Kinpira gobo goes with steamed rice and is often put in a bento lunch box.
