Have Fun Making Bento

Wednesday November 19, 2008
how to make bento Here is a bento (Japanese-style boxed meal) I prepared for my son. Rice balls (onigiri) are decorated to look like people, using seaweed (nori). It's fun to make different faces, and kids love them. Some of the dishes I put in this bento are spaghetti naporitan, tamagoyaki, meat balls, and sauteed spinach and ham. I also packed tangerines for dessert.
