Chicken and Egg Soboro Rice Bowl (c) Setsuko Yoshizuka In Japanese cooking, crumbled and seasoned ingredients are generally called soboro. Soboro have strong flavors, so they go with plain rice. This simple rice bowl is a typical Japanese soboro donburi with chicken and egg soboro on top of steamed rice.
