Asazuke - Japanese Quick Pickles

Japanese Japanese pickles (tsukemono) are almost always included in a Japanese-style meal. Asazuke are quick and easy pickles, and a variety of vegetables can be pickled this way. It makes a nice side dish, and it's also can be served at tea time with green tea.
