Kiritanpo Nabe

The weather is getting chilly, I have cravings for nabe (one pot dishes). This is a type of nabe in which the main ingredient is kiritanpo (cylinder-shaped rice cake). Kiritanpo is a speciality food in the northeast region of Japan and absorbs the flavorful soup well.
