Aburaage - Japanese

Definition: Aburaage is a deep-fried tofu (bean curd). Abura means oil and age means frying in Japanese. It is used to make inari-zushi (brown bag sushi). It's also added in miso soup. Hot udon noodles with aburaage toppings are called kitsune(fox) udon.
