Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 lb chicken thighs, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 tsp grated ginger root
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sake rice wine
- katakuriko/corn starch for coating
- Vegetable oil for frying
Preparation:
Mix ginger, soy sauce, and sake in a bowl. Marinate chicken pieces in the sauce for 30 minutes. Coat chicken with katakuriko/corn starch. Heat oil in a skillet. Deep fry chicken in 350 F oil until brown.*Makes 4 servings.
