Teriyaki roast chicken is the most popular Christmas dish in Japan.
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces whole chicken legs
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- * salt and pepper to season
Preparation:
Make teriyaki sauce and set aside.
Poke chicken skins with a fork. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over chicken thighs.
Marinate chickens in teriyaki sauce for 30 - 60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and roast chickens for about 30 minutes or until done, glazing with teriyaki sauce. Brush some reduced teriyaki sauce on roast chicken.
