A variety of flavored jelly are popular in Japan, and this is a simple jelly made with coffee.
Yield: 4 servings
- 2 cups coffee
- 2 Tbsp sugar (adjust the amount of sugar based on your preference)
- 1 Tbsp gelatin powder, mixed with 4 Tbsp of water
- whipped cream for topping
Put coffee and sugar in a sauce pan.
Heat to almost a boil. Stop the heat. Put the gelatin mixture and stir well until it dissolves.
When it's cooled down, pour into serving cups or containers.
Cool in the refrigerator until set.
Top with some whipped cream before serving if you would like.
