Stir-fried Bean Sprouts with Pork

Bean sprouts are stir-fried with marinated pork.

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb thinly sliced pork, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 lb bean sprouts, washed
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cored and julienned
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cored and julienned
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to season
  • for marinade
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sake
  • 1 tsp grated ginger

Preparation:

  1. Put pork in a bowl and season with soy sauce, sake, and ginger. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok on high heat.
  3. Fry the pork until changes color.
  4. Add green and red bell peppers.
  5. Further, add bean sprouts and quickly stir-fry.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
