Boiled Pork Recipe - Japanese Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin block
  • 6 cup water
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 chunk ginger root
  • 1/2 negi (green onion/leek)
  • Karashi mustard

Preparation:

Put water in a deep pan and bring to boil. Slice ginger thinly and cut negi green onion diagonally into small pieces. Add soy sauce, ginger, and green onion into the boiling water. Add a block of pork tenderloin in the soup and simmer for 20-30 min until the meat is cooked. Stop the heat and cool the pork in the soup. Remove the boiled pork from the pan and slice and serve with Japanese karashi mustard.
