Ingredients:

  • 1 pound thinly sliced pork
  • 1/2 Chinese cabbage (hakusai)
  • 1 medium daikon radish
  • 1 block tofu
  • 1 leek
  • 2 cups dashi soup stock
  • For dipping sauce: 1/2 cup soy sauce / 2 tbsp remon juice / 4 tbsp mirin

Preparation:

Cut tofu, Chinese cabbage, leek, and daikon radish into bite-sized pieces. Put the ingredients and thinly sliced pork in a large plate. Mix soy sauce, mirin, and lemon juice to make dipping sauce. Set a hot plate or gas grill at the table. * After this point, everything is done at the table as you eat. Put soup stockin a pot and heat over high heat. Add meat and other ingredients in the pot. As they are cooked, dip them into dipping sauce and eat.
