The soup is simply seasoned with salt. Butter flavored corn adds great taste to it.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup whole kernel corn
  • 1 cup bean sprout
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup chicken soup stock
  • 1 cup katsuo dashi soup
  • 2 tsp mirin
  • 2 Chukamen noodles
  • 2 tsp white sesame seeds

Preparation:

Melt butter in a medium pan and saute corn and bean sprouts on medium heat. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Pour chicken soup and katsuodashi soup and bring to a boil. Season with salt and mirin. Serve the hot soup into individual bowls. In the meantime, boil lots of water in a large pan. Add chukamen noodles in the boiling water and cook for a few minutes, or according to the package instruction. Drain the noodles and serve in the hot soup. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
