The tempura (shrimp, asuhos fish, eggplant, sweet potato and bell pepper) turned out crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. It was very good. I used equal parts of kikkoman soy sauce and mirin (sweet Japanese wine) and a bit of grated horse radish as the tempura sauce. Delicious.
