Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Teriyaki chicken makes a good sandwich filling.


  • 2 chicken breasts, cut in half
  • 5 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 4 leaves lettuce, torn into small pieces
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 hamburger buns


Marinate chicken in teriyaki sauce for about 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Grill chicken on hot grill until cooked through. Put a piece of chicken on the bottom half of a bun and spread some mayonnaise on the chicken. Place onion slices and lettuce over the chicken. Put the other half of the bun on the top.
*Makes 4 sandwiches

I just wondered what to do with the Teriyaki Chicken left overs from yesterday evening. This one made a fine and quick second breakfast. Yummy. JJ
